Story Behind Eventbrite.com
Have you ever organized a concert, knife party, and funfair? If yes then you must be aware of all kinds of challenges that are associated with it like planning, marketing and selling tickets for a particular event. All these activities mentioned earlier were used to be considered time consuming and hectic ones, before the launch of Eventbrite.com by Kevin Hartz, Julia Hartz and Renaud Visage in 2006.
What is Eventbrite?
Eventbrite is an event management website that allows its users to plan events, sell tickets and promote and advertise their events across the different social medias like; Facebook, Twitter and etc. All these functions can be performed by using the website’s easy to use interface. Attendees can find any event by visiting Eventbrite’s website and also buy tickets.
All About Eventbrite!
Eventbrite has sold more than 94 million tickets for different kinds of events since 2006. Eventbrite charges nominal amounts on the sale of each ticket on their website. This is how their cash stream is flowing. Eventbrite allows the users to register their events free of cost and also provides various tools and applications to make it easy for the organizer to arrange an event.
Apps by Eventbrite
Eventbrite has launched two apps to facilitate its users; ‘Entry Manager’ and ‘At the Door’. Event Manager helps the planner to see how many people are attending an event and also allows searching them by names and bar codes. The later one allows the user to check-in and sell tickets on-site by processing credit-cards.
